Exposure and Slope | The vineyard is planted on flat land in a valley that runs from east to west, and is thus exposed to the sun practically all day long. |

Temperature | Mild, thanks to its proximity to the ocean, with gentle winds, ideal for producing grapes with good colour, aroma and flavour. |
Winemaking | The grapes were all hand-picked form our own vineyards and were rigorously selected at point of perfect ripeness. They were picked into 20 kg plastic boxes, and gently destalked. The must was fermented in small, open stainless steel tanks, after wich the young wine was matured for 16 months in new 500-litre Allier oak barrels. The wine was not subjected to tartaric stabilization and may therefore in time throw a slight deposit. Following a last fining, it was bottled and stored in temperature and humidiy-controlled conditions. |
